KTM has updated the fully-faired RC 200 for 2020 giving it an aggressive-looking paint scheme. It comprises of a black and orange paint along with bold graphics on the fairing. Apart from this, the motorcycle remains the same visually. It gets a dual-LED projector headlamp at the front with LED DRLs that give it a distinctive look. The sleek 9.5-litre fuel tank merges well into the upswept tail section which houses a split-seat setup.


KTM RC 200 is a sports bike available in 1 variant in india. Its price starts from ₹2,00,836 (ex-showroom). KTM RC 200 generates 24.6 bhp of power and 19.2 nm of torque from its 199.5cc engine. Single cylinder engine of RC 200 has a 6 speed manual gearbox. With both rear and front disk brakes, KTM RC 200 also has an anti-locking braking system. This 160.6 kg bike is available in 1 colour.


The styling of the bike can be described as sharp and edgy. Unlike the curvy lines that most supersport adopt, the RC 200 has angular and sharp lines all-around. The funky graphics on the BS6 version looks striking and despite being over half a decade old, the bike still looks modern. On the features front you get an all-digital instrument console loaded with details like real-time fuel efficiency, average speed, gear position indicator, shift light and the regular data.


Powering the bike is a 199.5cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that churns out 25PS and 19.2Nm. KTM fans will be happy to hear that despite meeting the stringent BS6 emission norms, the new RC 200 maintains the same power output as its predecessor. It continues to feature a 6-speed gearbox, and unlike the KTM RC 390, it still doesn’t get a slipper clutch.

The KTM RC 200 is renowned for its brilliant handling dynamics and it can be credited to the trellis bike it employs. Suspension hardware on the RC 200 is top-notch with a USD fork and a monoshock at the rear. It features disc brakes on either end and the new bike also gets dual-channel ABS. Unlike the new 200 Duke, it’s faired sibling doesn’t get the new subframe and larger fuel tank.
